K. Marsh insurance was established in 2022. Although a new business, owner Lorin Kirk has 14 years of experience in the field.  She leapt into the insurance field in 2009 after a successful career in sales and transportation. She felt that becoming an insurance agent was a good way to help people.  Since 2009, she has continued to enhance her expertise in the business of insurance in order to protect her client's legacies.

The inspiration to start K. Marsh insurance comes from Lorin's entrepreneurial passion.  The agency's name is a tribute to her father and the great strides he made to create a legacy for family.

Lorin has lived in Vandalia for most of her life. She and her husband, Joe, have two sons, and are both very involved in the community. They are active members of Mother of Dolors Catholic Church, Vandalia Jr. Wrestling, and the Vandalia Youth Football Program. Lorin and Joe also own Kirks Incorporated, a masonry and construction business​.
